Eye Nocturne is Seeking a Lead Singer

Established and acclaimed College Station-based rock band Eye Nocturne is seeking a lead singer. We have a well-established catalog of original material, including lyrics and vocal melodies. We are looking for a vocalist/musician who meets the following criteria:
1. Must be willing to sing pre-written and recorded original songs as they are. While there is some room for interpretation, lyrics and vocal melodies must remain essentially intact.
2. Preferably, we would like a singer who can also play bass (or at least has a working knowledge of the guitar and/or bass). A singer with his or her own bass and amplifier is a plus. A singer with his or her own PA system is even better. To be clear, we are not looking for another guitar player.
3. Must be committed to practicing at least once a week for several hours. We are serious musicians, and expect a certain amount of discipline, including practicing on one’s own time.
4. Must be passionate about music. While we are not necessarily looking for a singer with experience (though that would be beneficial), we are hoping for someone with a good vocal range, a powerful on-stage presence, a good sense of rhythm, and level of stability in his or her personal life.
Our influences include Dream Theater, Metallica, Rush, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Symphony X, Van Halen, Tool, and many others. Welcome our 4th Member

Eye Nocturne would like to welcome J.P. to the band. He has been playing and smashing guitars since he was a tyke. He enjoys horseback riding, moonlit walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, jumping off rooftops with his Harley-Davidson, and umm, listening to Dream Theater.
When you see him at our next show, don’t make eye contact, lest he give you the evil eye and put a curse on you. Do, however, open your ears to his blazing, screetching, ass-kicking style. If you enjoy having blood shoot out of your ears (and who doesn’t), come see the new, improved lineup at our next show.
All the band needs now are some hot groupies (family members don’t count).
